Pianist Artur Haftman was born in Poland in 1994 and is currently studying for a Master of Performance at the Royal College of Music in London with Professor Dmitri Alexeev. At the same time he is studying at the La Schola Cantorum in Paris with Professor Maurizio Moretti. He began playing the piano at the age of seven studying with Ewa Kubiak-Kubacka and later with Jolanta Reszelska. At the Royal College of Music he is the recipient of the prestigious Kenneth and Violet Scott Award. He is also supported by Drake Calleja Trust, Talent Unlimited Musical Charity, The Hanna and Zdzislaw Broncel Charitable Trust and “Konfraternia Artystów Polskich”. Artur has participated in masterclasses with renowned pianists such as Russell Sherman and Janina Fialkowska. Artur is the winner of numerous international competitions including First Prize in the International Music Competition “Musicaclassica” in Moscow (2012), 7th International Chopin Competition in Narva – Estonia (2010), “Gold Parnas” (The Grand Prize) at International Piano Forum “Bieszczady bez granic” in Sanok (2013). He made his début performance with an orchestra at the age of eight and then when sixteen performed Chopin’s Piano Concerto No 2. Artur Haftman has presented solo recitals across the UK, Poland, France, Estonia, Lithuania and Slovakia. He recently performed in Steinway Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields and St Mary’s Perivale in London and in Delbridge Hall in Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Boston. His recent projects included duo recital in Italy. Artur is known to play for numerous charitable concerts as his contribution to philanthropy.
Jenny (Il Hwa) Lee is currently attending Royal College of Music as a 2nd year undergraduate student. She has been involved in RCM Orchestras Conducted by Philip Sizer. Before college, she attended High School as principal violist of both the LHS orchestra and LHS Chamber Ensemble and learned under Jack Rosenberg of Juilliard School of Music from 2012. She has participated in the New York Little Orchestra and New Jersey Little Orchestra from 2008. She also had played in Joo Young Oh's chamber orchestra in the summer of 2015. In addition, Jenny was concertmistress of the New York Classical Youth Orchestra from 2013 to 2014 and principal violist from 2014 to 2017. She enjoys volunteering in Bergen Youth Orchestra and the Bergen Youth Orchestra Symphony as principle violist. She has won 1st place in Manhattan International Music Competition, New York Artist International Competition, New York International Music Concours and K-Radio International Music Concurs. And as a result she has had many opportunities to perform at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Lefrak Concert Hall, DiMenna Center. SIA Chamber Hall,
Mozart Hall, Poland Culture Center and Merkin Hall with K-Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. She has studied with Jack Rosenberg, Jinhwan Kim, David Derrico, Bela Horvath and currently studying with Yuri Zhislin.
